Fuan
Fuan
- 41.67 x 50 cm
Fuan is a visual record of a past psychological cycle shaped by nighttime anxiety, overthinking, and intrusive thought patterns. The work reconstructs a confined interior space where repetition replaces time, and thought becomes physical environment. The mirror inscribed with Fuan represents distorted self-perception and insecurity, while fragmented heads above the figure reflect shifting mental states used to cope with depression. Surrounding forms visualise intrusive thoughts that dominated silence and sleep. Red markings serve as an index of past intrusive ideation, with scale reflecting intensity rather than narrative. The room itself becomes an emotional archive — where every surface carries residue from internal experience. This piece is not a present condition, but a document of a previous chapter — translated into structure, symbolism, and space
